- When the biolizard was threatening to crash into the planet after fusing to the Space Colony Ark, Sonic and Shadow used the Chaos Emeralds to transform, his fur turns a mach-gold, he can fly, with the given ability of a Chaos Spear, a long, sharp bolt of golden energy. Super Shadow is a the Alternate Coustume of Shadow. He is the 2nd Fastest Charcter but has the 2nd slowest dodge.
- Super Shadow (スーパーシャドウ Sūpā Shadō?) is the Super State of Shadow the Hedgehog when he harnesses the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds. Super Shadow made his first appearance in Sonic Adventure 2 and has since then appeared in numerous games. While transformed, all his powers and abilities are enhanced up to their full limit.
- Nachdem sich der Biolizard in den Final Hazard verwandelt hat, verwandeln sich auch Sonic und Shadow in Super Sonic und Super Shadow, um ihn zu besiegen. Sie nutzen dazu die Kraft der Chaos Emeralds. Die beiden kämpfen im All und greifen den Final Hazard abwechselnd an. Zum Schluss nutzen sie beide Chaos Control um die auf die Erde stürzende ARK wieder in ihre Umlaufbahn zu bringen. Dabei benötigt Super Shadow jedoch viel Energie, wodurch er nicht nur ARK zurück gelangen kann und fällt geschwächt auf die Erde.

- Super Shadow is a fictional character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series and an in-game form of Shadow the Hedgehog.
- Since Super Shadow's arrival in Sonic Adventure 2, found in the last story, fans of Sonic and Shadow started using the name Hyper Shadow instead of the accurate name, Super Shadow. Fans also sometimes get the body color of Super Shadow mixed up, calling it 'silver'. However, Super Shadow's fur appears that way because of the engine used to render the graphics of Sonic Adventure 2.

(VG: SA2/SA2B) He later transformed again to do battle with Devil Doom, super form of Black Doom. Super Shadow was able to destroy Devil Doom, ending the Black Arms invasion of the world. Super Shadow made his first appearance in Sonic Adventure 2, and just like Super Sonic, he requires rings in order to stay in this form, otherwise he will power down to normal. Moreover, in Shadow the Hedgehog, more of Super Shadow's powers are revealed and can be used. For instance, Super Shadow can now use Air Dash, and can perform Chaos Spear.
