Hailing from Carida, he was the descendent of many Republic Navy admirals. Harridax went on to graduate from the Carida Imperial Military Academy, and later studied at the Corulag Officer Academy and the Imperial City Naval College. He was known to be a skilled tactician by his allies and enemies alike, and led a fleet of Star Destroyers and various other warships. After the deaths of Wilhuff Tarkin and his staff on the Death Star, there was a power vacuum in the Battle Station Operationss branch of the Imperial Military. Harridax was appointed as the new Chief of Battle Station Operations by Emperor Palpatine shortly aft
