Gehenna Major was a White Dwarf star in the center of Gehenna System, more commonly known as the Ice Field of Gehenna. Being a white dwarf it generated little fusion energy, and marginally more heat, and had a large Gravitational pull. It was The Star's gravity that kept the Nebulae and Asteroids from expanding outward. When the star collapsed into a Dwarf star it destroyed most of its planets save Gehenna Minor, a terrestrial moon rich in several ores and alloys used by the Remsian Republic in its en devours, and Wintersun, a frigid world covered in perpetual fog from the mix of its frozen surface and volcanic mantle.
