As a young flight leader during the first invasion of Europe, Captain Briggs took part in some of the JSF's heaviest fighting in the war. Flying his attack helicopter with the 5th Battalion's 4th Troop, Briggs became one of the highest-scoring gunship pilots in Task Force Wolverine. Upon returning to the States, Briggs was promoted to command the battalion's attack helicopter troop, known as the "Black Cats", and assigned the advanced MH-85 Seminole equipped with a cutting-edge battle management system and AGM-117 Fire-and-Forget Anti-Tank missiles.
