- Ryohgo Narita (成田 良悟 Narita Ryōgo) (b. 1980) is the author of Vamp!. He published the first Vamp! light novel in 2004, right on the heels of his first Durarara!! novel, his fifth Baccano! novel, and his first Etsusa Bridge novel. Although the series has been on hiatus for a few years, Narita still talks about it frequently on his Twitter account and clearly wants to continue writing it - he just needs the go-ahead from his editors.
- Narita was born in Tokyo on May 30, 1980, and grew up in Saitama. At university, he majored in satellite image analysis. He wrote his first novel during spring break between his third and fourth year at university and submitted it to the 9th Dengeki Novel Prize competition, tying for the Gold Prize.
