Vira Toola is very similar to its distant mainland cousin Kecha Wacha in terms of body shape and size. Where it differs however is its jaws claws and fur color and the fact that it has pangolin like scales covering its body and that it has the ability to roll up into a ball similar to an armadiloo for protection against larger predators and has the ability to stretch its underbelly skin to glide. The Vira Toola head is similar in appearance to that of a vampire bat. Its claws are more curved lacking the double hook of its mainland cousin. Vira Toola has poor eyesight but fantastic hearing thanks to its large ears.
