Live music with a railroad-related theme will happen all day: 11:00 Railroad & Trolley songs on harp by entrance, 1:00 and 2:30 Train of Thought Chorus, songs about Trolleys and Trains, "Taken by Trolley", an interactive trolley ride with costumed living-history presenters from the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association's Deerfield Teacher Center. At 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, ride the trolley while "Taken by Trolley" is presented, created from the diary of a real girl in Massachusetts, circa 1910. The audience will become Time Travelers as we ride the trolley with her and see and hear of her experiences then. Displays of local agriculture and industry served by the trolley line, (yes the popular cider pressing will be back!)
