| - Subach-Innes was originally founded in 992ABY by a technical entrepreneur named Jerred Subach. A man with great vision and an eye for ways to make a profit, he invested his life savings into a small office and warehouse, starting up Subach-Innes, named after himself and the banker friend who assisted in helping him pay for his first craft. Subach put together a team of relatively unknown engineers and began work on a fighter craft he called the Apollo. With advanced features not found in a typical fighter, such as rapid-fire xaser weaponry, particle and ray shields, and a hyperdrive, the Apollo was very much advanced considering the time period it was created in, superior to comparable ships like the modernized T-65 X-Wing starfighter. The very first craft was kept by Subach for his personal use, and the second Apollo, also the first production version, was sold to the Thyferran military as a squadron leader's personal fighter. The craft would later show its acumen in a skirmish against a rogue Thyferran squadron, and was extremely capable against the shielded TIE Fighters the rogues had been equipped with. Indeed, the squadron leader himself gained more kills then his TIE-flying comrades, only reinforcing the Apollo's superiority over comparable fighter craft. With the Apollo having proven a success, Subach turned his attention to other craft. The Athena fighter-bomber was rushed into service by the company, proving relatively useful as a fighter despite its "bomber" status in most military forces. He also began to branch out, designing a couple of warships comparable to the Star Destroyers in use at that time by the Galactic Alliance and Galactic Empire. Jerred was designing a new craft, known simply as the Ulysses, that was mostly completed at the time of his premature death.
