The Macedonian special presidential election took place on March 22, 2041 to decide who would be the first General Secretary of the new People's Republic of Macedonia. Alejandra Kokinos of the native Communist Party overwhelmingly with 99.9% of the vote with all of the other votes being cast either being for various other people or invalid votes. After taking the Oath of Office, Alejandra Kokinos became the first woman General Secretary in history. A total of 2,490,290 people voted in the election.
