The Third Army Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia was a military organization within the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia during much of the American Civil War. The corps was formed in mid-1863 and served until Lee's surrender on April 9, 1865, near the end of the war. For most of its existence, the corps was commanded by A. P. Hill, although others temporarily took command when Hill fell ill.
