- In the World of Eve-online there are two types of carrier-launched drones, Fighters and Fighter-Bombers. Introduced in the Tyrannis expansion, fighter bombers are frigate sized fighter drones with two pilots. They can only be used with supercarrier class ships. In large groups they are extremely effective and can cause massive damage, even more so than the original fighters. Though the potential damage output of these bombers is quite high, the Incursion patch made them extremely subjective to the signature radius of the target ship, rendering them useless against sub-capitals.
