Yū Asagiri(あさぎり夕Asagiri Yū), born Yuriko Takano(高野夕里子Takano Yuriko), who also writes as Yū Asagiri(朝霧夕Asagiri Yū), is a Japanese mangaka from Tokyo, Japan. She made her professional manga debut in 1976. Asagiri received the 1987 Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo for Nana Iru Majikku ("Seven Colors Magic"). Her other works include Golden Cain, Midnight Panther. She provided the art for Kirara Boshi no Daiyogen, with the story by Kyoko Mizuki.
