  • Pakatugg Treefleet was a secretive squirrel and ally of the Long Patrol. He lived in Mossflower Woods, although the exact location was a closely guarded secret. Colonel Clary, Brigadier Thyme, and Hon Rosie requested Pakatugg to escort Mariel Gullwhacker to Redwall Abbey. However, she deserted him after a clash over food and the blindfold she had to wear. Pakatugg's primary weapon was a blowpipe and darts. He successfully used it against some of Greypatch's scouts, but he was eventually captured by them. When Clary, Thyme, and Rosie launched their final attack to free him and the other slaves, Pakatugg stayed behind to help the fight against the searats, but sacrificed his life to do so.
