The Eyelander is an unlockable melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a large bloodstained and battle-worn claymore reputed to be haunted by a bloodthirsty, malevolent spirit. As such, the blade will constantly mutter the word "heads" when held. When it kills a player, it decapitates them, leaving a ragdoll of the player with a head flying off it. Everytime a kill is achieved with this weapon directly, the user gains 7.5% speed and 15 health. The max head count is 5, and all heads are lost on death. On top of that, if the user decaptiates another demoman weilding the eyelander (or Nessie's Nine Iron/Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker) all heads collected by the victim will be stolen by the user. This weapon has no random critical hits. It has a 37% longer melee range than stock melee weapons do. Without the Bootlegger, the demoman will have a max of 225 health, with the bootlegger he will have 250 health, and move about 10-15% slower than a normal Scout.
