The Journal Of Heredity, initially known as the American Breeders' Magazine, was one of the most prominent eugenics periodicals during the first 50 years of its existence. It was founded by the American Breeders' Association, later renamed to American Genetic Assocation. Tellingly, the short history paragraph on the American Genetic Association's website neglects to mention its affiliation and commitment to the eugenics movement - and its support of Nazi race hygiene ideology up until at least 1942.__TOC__
