Once when they were first assigned to Tsukishima to follow, one of their former members, questioned Tsukishima, asking "Oh good, we get to babysit a child. Why were we, such great soldiers, assigned to you?" The only form of emotion that Tsukishima had shown was a smirk, and a chuckle. "Fine, you are dismissed, soldier." Tsukishima had said, before placing a hand on his shoulder and guiding him in the direction to go and removing it. The man walked away quickly, and a just as quickly as he had gotten out of line and began to walk away, Tsukishima used the Flying Thunder God Slash and appeared out of thin air , slicing the man's arm off with a simple yet adequate stroke of his Kunai. The man fell to the ground in agony, holding the part of his arm that was still intact. He saw the men and women watch in horror. He commanded them all to burn all of what was left of the man. They complied, not wanting to be next. That was when Tsukishima noticed he had loyal men.
