| - The first time a random gentleman loped up to her and put flowers in her hair, it was the well-spoken undead gentleman Geranguas. The two had become fast friends after the random meeting in Thunder Bluff. The second time was a large, hulking older Tauren man who smelled of dust and oil. Unlike her new undead friend with whom she had developed a loving platonic relationship, this Tauren bull made his lecherous intentions quite clear. To everyone who wasn't Keola. "Hey there pretty cow, wanna take a kodo ride to my tent?" He'd said, voice deep and smooth like velvet over steel. If Keola had any experience previous with a predator, her reaction would have been to cock punch him and move on. However, naivety had gotten her into trouble on more than one occasion. "Why would I want to go to your tent with you?" She asked innocently, picking the wild flowers out of her mane. The older bull stuck his chest out and gave her an almost feral grin. "A challenge! I will bite. You look so small and alone little one, don't you need a place to call home? I have a very nice, soft fur that would suit you perfectly!" "Hmmm no thanks," Keola said, shaking out her mane to make sure she hadn't missed a stray petal. "I like it here in Thunder Bluff a lot, and I like my hammock a lot better than furs." "I have an encampment very close to the bluffs," He'd said offering her his hand. "I can go down to the valley whenever I want to," She said simply. "Besides, the stars are prettier way up here." He shifted to her side and offered her his elbow. "At least let me escort you to your hammock. I wouldn't want anything awful to become you." "We're in the bluffs, and there are guards everywhere." Keola said. "I don't really think anything is going to happen." The bull frowned at her. "What game is this?" "Game?" "...you intrigue me, little one." "....thank you?" He let out a hearty chuckle and tucked another wild flower behind her ear. "I am Macanudo, and I can't say that I have had the pleasure of seeing you here before." Keola frowned. "Nice to meet you! I come here at night to bathe in the pools and watch the stars by the big bonfire. Most people are in bed at that time, I guess." "Call me Mac," He offered. "Do you come here every night?" Keola's epiphany came too late again - her big mouth was about to get her into even bigger trouble. Again. At least on most nights she wasn't alone...maybe Litehoof or Geranguas could help her scare the old man away... "Pretty often, when I am not training in Northrend. They need healers on the front." She said matter of factly. "I am sure you are an excellent healer! Miss..." He trailed off, prompting. "Keola." She said slowly. "Miss Keola! Life, as your name means in our tongue." Keola nodded and took a step back, trying to think of a way to excuse herself from the meeting. "I have to go train now, if I am late Mister Loganaar is going to kill me!" "Let me escort you-" "I'll see you around Mister Mac!" And with that Keola activated her summons to moonglade and dissapeared. What Keola didn't know was that after only a moment of confusion, Macanudo and broken out into a wide grin and said aloud to himself "The easy ones are never much fun, anyway." Tags: Keola
