He also remained in the corporeal world as a ghost, wearing "a wide-brimmed hat," "a uniform and carrying a sword." In November of 2009, he helped to guide Valeria White through the forests on Croatoa. During the Summer of 2010, he greeted Julia King and Alexandra Quick at the Thorn family crypt.
