The Blinnikov World Ballet Corps was a ballet company directed by Count Kurskov. Their premiere piece was Giselle, which they have performed at least since 1890, using exactly the same performance every night, as the Count had trapped the Prima Ballerina, himself and the spirits of the rest of the dancers in a time bubble. Angel himself saw the identical 1890 show, which is why he recognizes it in the present.
