  • North Swallow Pass is a path through dense mountains, that separates the area of Kyaro from the area of Ryube Village; It is one of the few routes between Highland and the City-States of Jowston. The mountains are filled with fog, and has a spring that heals wounds. Monsters and bandits roam about, Legend has it, that an evil Mist Monster, lurks in the shadows. Riou, Jowy, Rina, Eilie and Bolgan, travel together to North Swallow Pass in order to go to Kyaro. The soldiers guarding the area, do not let them pass. Rina bribed or tricked the guards into letting them pass, Upon nearing the end of the mountains, Mist Shade appears and battles the group. After these events and the return of Riou to the City-States, the pass was closed for the duration of the Dunan Unification War and was reopened after the victory over the Highland forces, making the North Sparrow Pass a part of the Dunan Republic.
