The Western Roto Thresh combine harvester was built in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada by Western Roto Thresh Ltd. It featured a hp (kW) Caterpillar engine. The company was founded by William and Fred Streich. In 1951 they built their 1st prototype. In 1968 they formed Western Roto Thresh and built another prototype. Finally in 1974, production of the Roto Thresh combine began. By 1978 the company was out of business.
