"Run!” his voice rasped. “Run, my sweet, little child. Run away from daddy!" As he said those words, I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me. "W-why is he doing this? What's wrong with daddy?" I thought. "I can see you, sweetheart," he said. I started to run faster; I didn't want to end up like Mommy, I tripped over a root. "Let daddy help you up, Daisy." His voice sounded close. I was paralyzed with fear. My father grabbed me by the arm and turned me to face him. He chuckled darkly. "You did well. Now it’s time for you to join Mommy.” He raised his knife. "I love you, my sweet little child."

Those were the last words I said before the knife pierced my skin. Blood oozed out of me, getting all over the ground. Before I left the world of the living, my daddy whispered: "I love you, my sweet little child."
