Coppergram Man was a strip-o-gram who crashed Jack and Vera Duckworth's 33rd wedding anniversary party at the Rovers Return in the guise of a policeman in 1990. Pretending that that he'd been called out to question the Duckworths after Vera threw a piece of stone cladding at the Wiltons' window, the stripper then tore off his shirt and sang a birthday telegram to them. Relieved, Vera entered into the spirit of the occasion - until he sang a line about her throwing cladding at the neighbours. Vera forced a smile for the rest of the act, but everyone else lapped it up, including Steph Barnes who admitted afterwards that she had hired him, having witnessed Vera committing the crime.
