The High River Fliers were a senior team. They played in the Southern Alberta Senior Hockey League for four seasons. The Fliers won the Alberta Senior Championship in 1928-29, In that year they were suspended by the Southern Alberta League for refusing to replay a game. The Alberta Amateur Hockey Association reversed the suspension. The league then withdrew from the provincial playoffs and the Fliers entered them.
