  • The wears only the monster badge; the Wulfenbach Jäger badge appears on escorting the Baron in Beetleburg. Some Wulfenbach clanks seen early on similar horned badges - possibly due to being attached to the Jägermonsters . The monster badge is also worn as a tattoo by Old Man Death.
  • Noteworthy for their apparent ability to appear and disappear at will.
  • Ostensibly a firefighting unit, but their "gas condensers" can also be used as cryogenic weapons. Has appeared only when first described
  • Heavy what? Not known — fought at Battle of Sturmhalten. Possibly "Heavy Cavalry", i.e., the Hooms.
  • Apparently had divided loyalty
  • Apparently had divided loyalty .
  • Support when Klaus and Gil visit Beetleburg
  • Support when Klaus goes to Sturmhalten
  • Tarvek discovered this unit had been subverted.
  • Unit that would have been assigned to guard Punch and Judy had Von Pinn not torn them apart.
  • Large clanks ostensibly used as earth movers, but their "subsonic wave throwers" are capable of liquefying bedrock. Has appeared only when first described
  • Most unusual uniform observed for normal human troops - the Wasp eater-handlers wear a deep-hooded floor-length cape topped with a warrior-bug head carapace; goggles and filter mask ; an option of full or fingerless gloves; and a utility belt which may also hold weasel-treats. Non-coms and regular troops wear a blue, green and gold version of the more typical Wulfenbach uniform. Distinctive insect wings on Wulfenbach badge.
  • The lightning bolt might suggest a quick-response unit.
  • Support accompanying Klaus and Gil on their visit to Beetleburg; also . "Mechanical" may imply this is a unit of Wulfenbach clanks. Note the squared-off edges of the badge wings to suggest mechanical rather than organic.
  • Although apparently administered by civilians, Prisoner Transport works with the military at least in Mechanicsburg, as a Wulfenbach regular .
  • Tarvek suggested that this unit be used to contain the subverted 207th Chemical.
  • Whether these insectoids are constructs or clanks is unknown, but Ognian seemed to believe them . Support when Klaus goes to Sturmhalten; apparently no unit number.
  • Ostensibly a Heliographic emergency communication system, but their mirror and lens arrays can also be used as as Heliostat weapons as per the stories of Archimedes' mirrors. Has appeared only when first described
  • These are shoulder badges from human soldiers of unspecified units.
  • Unit referred to only as 'a medical ship'; badge appears on gondola and gasbag stern terminus. Uniforms seem similar to those of the orderlies at the Great Hospital.
  • Has at least two kinds of tunneling vehicle - the "Deep Six" model collapses its tunnel behind it for perimeter security. The brigade uses the Wulfenbach badge on a downward-pointing arrow which some take to be a stylized drilling bit.
