Hera sent her soldiers to help supplement the Bethos soldiers in the fight against Hercules. Hercules and Iolaus were able save the children before any harm came to them. Maliphone was exiled from Bethos after Polonius was killed in a fight with Trinculos. In a crude translation, "Maliphone" can mean "evil sound", from the Latin malus, ("evil") and the Greek phone ("sound").
