S.H.A.R.O.N. (originally known as T.R.A.C.I.E. 2 / TRACIE 2) was a competitor robot built by the KEGS School in Chelmsford, which was intended to enter Series 3 of Robot Wars. However it was rejected by the show's producers, and would never compete in the televised show. KEGS School had previously reached the Grand Final of Series 1 with T.R.A.C.I.E., with Jeremy Clarkson's remarks about its performance in the latter series providing the origins of S.H.A.R.O.N.'s finalised name. The KEGS School team would go on to create the popular Tectonic Robot Wars website.
