While playing the violin one day, town hermit, Sally McKeever, was bitten by a brown recluse spider. Whether or not it was radioactive is anyone's guess, however, she was instantly granted a venomous bite and the ability to spin webs naturally. She rarely bites though, unless seriously provoked and doesn't really enjoy spinning webs as she finds it somewhat awkward and unsettling as it comes out of her behind. For the most part, she really just hangs out at home playing her music.
