My Chemical Castration (sometimes abbreviated MCC) is a musical protest group that plays rock music. The band was created after their lead singer Gerard Way got the idea from the UK-based protest group Fathers 4 Justice (a group of alienated fathers protesting for custody of their children). It was Way's plan to get media attention for the case of pro-paedophiles, and with his close friends and his brother formed My Chemical Castration.
