There are 10 spellbooks. 2 are non member and 8 are members. The spellbooks are: Arcane Flame Stone Storm Frost Underdark Overlight Nature Seas Cogs Boldened are members. If an Arcanist has all of the spells of a certain book they have the option to summon a familiar. You charge life into your familiar for a special effect.

* Storms special effect reduced wait time for the storm spell and increased damage for thundershock
* Frosts full effect is increased jumping for you and your familiar. You can als walk on water for 5 hp per step

* Underdarks special is a phylactery, a soul container that provides a respawn point if you die
* Overlights special provides you a 5 hp shield per turn
* Natures special is increased arrows for your elves and bigger effect of vine and thorn bombs
* Seas special effect is decreased damage from freshwater attacks (deluge, english summer and waterball) and ability to walk on water without taking damage
* Cogs special effect gives you 30 extra seconds at max
