Sien Sovv was a Sullustan officer of the New Republic Navy. He was elevated to the rank of Admiral in 4 ABY, just after the Battle of Endor, and led the New Republic's forces in the Second Kyros War, where he quickly gained a reputation as an indifferent but cautious (some would say cowardly) commander. A Sullustan chauvinist, he appointed only Sullustans to positions of command in his fleet when he could get away with it and hosted a deep animosity towards his subordinate in the war, Admiral Dif Scaur. Needless to say, his relations with the Republic's grudging allies in the war, the League of Moffs, were even worse. The fleet was eventually recalled after the cataclysmic Fifth Battle of Kyros, which the Republic recognized a victory, and Sovv was awarded the order Hero of the New Republic and went on to succeed Admiral Ackbar as New Republic Supreme Commander.
