Dr. Averill Frankenstein is an insane geneticist in the Spy High book series. In book one, he creates a gene mutation factory where he preforms various genetic experiments, like altering the DNA of people, turning them into animal-like monsters, then implanting a chip in their brains to make them subservient to him. He does this by using a Gene Gas that mutates the subjects DNA. He was defeated when Bond team disrupted the computer chip signal in the mutants brains, ending their slavery to Frankenstein, which then caused them to literally tear Frankenstein apart in revenge for mutating them. Later, Frankenstein comes back to life using a cloning program developed by his associates.
