| - Jarrod is a human. Jarrod is 16 years old. He has a twin brother named Jarron. He is the most powerful human of all time.
- Jarrod was a planet inhabited by humans in the Post Diaspora era. It was the location of a Manpower Incorporated breeding station for genetic slaves. The slaver Felicia III was carrying eight thousand units from Jarrod when it was taken over by the Audubon Ballroom in the Erewhon System in 1919 PD. (CS1)
- Jarrod is a student at Pai Zhua. As a senior student, he liked picking on junior students, like Casey Rhodes, who was only 2-weeks new. Upon the bully, Master Mao kicked him out, forcing Jarrod to play his hand. However this made him an easy target for Dai Shi.
- Dai Shi leaves Jarrod's body and Jarrod joins the rangers. He is last seen as a student at the academy with Camille and shows the rest the lion technique. After her recieves his Fury Morpher from Whiger, he is able to morph into the Lion Ranger.

- Jarrod is a Redguard looking for his son Taren in the Ogre's Bluff.
- Jarrod was one of the few krogan warlords to survive the Krogan Rebellions, and the father of Urdnot Wrex. He carried a grudge against the Citadel races after the Rebellions and the devastating effects that the genophage had on his species. Disregarding the drastic reduction in krogan numbers, Jarrod -- and other tribal leaders who followed him -- intended to continue fighting regardless.
- Jarrod was to be one of the three guardians of the chest holding the evil known as Dai Shi. But when he showed himself to be a bully to others and was arrogant, he was expelled, and Casey was given his place. But, when Jarrod attacked Master Mao with his Black Lion Animal Spirit, the chest was accidentally opened and Dai Shi was released. As he was making his way through the forest, Dai Shi caught up with him and possessed him. For a long time, Dai Shi used his body, and his Animal Spirit as well. Jarrod's animal spirit, during his time as Phantom Beast King, seems to be gryphon-themed, though this was never confirmed on-screen.
- After a brief battle with Master Mao, the chest accidentally opened and brought Dai Shi to the real world once again. Dai Shi defeated Master Mao. Jarrod ran off, Dai Shi saw his fear and took over Jarrod's body as a host. When Dai Shi became Phantom Beast King, Jarrod adopted a stronger Griffin form. Dai Shi told Jarrod that he lacked the heart of lion, he chose him because he hadn't a shred of nobility or kindness. Three Phantom Beast Generals were sent to kill Camille and he managed to destroy two of them.
