The Frances's sparrowhawk (Accipiter francesiae), is a species of small bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. The nominate subspecies, Accipiter francesiae francesiae, is endemic to Madagascar. The race from Anjouan, Accipiter francesiae pusillus is possibly extinct. The name commemorates Lady Frances Cole (died 1847), wife of the Cape Colony governor Lowry Cole.
