For company history see Main article: International Harvester The International Cub was revised in 1975 with increased power and styling modifications to become the New International Cub. New domed cast aluminum pistons increased the compression ratio. That, plus an increase in governed speed to 2200 rpm boosted the power output to hp (kW) (pto). Styling changes amounted to a black grille and black stripes on the hood sides set off by blue accent stripes. In the final months of production the yellow and white color scheme was changed to the traditional International red. It was built in the Louisville Works, Louisville, Kentucky, USA factory.
