Synopsis
  • Gang boss Wolf Lupo is running a protection racket in Big City. Witnesses are afraid to testify against him except for one man named Kraus. Lupo’s men kidnap Kraus and take him to their hideout to silence him one and for all. Meanwhile, District Attorney Dan Rogers is puzzled on how to proceed against Lupo without Kraus' testimony. Rogers’ son Tommy Rodgers offers to help, but his father denies him. Instead Tommy and his friend Tubby dress as mystery-men and visit their clubhouse, where they find Kraus, the kidnapped man. The boys take on the gangsters, and thanks to the timely arrival of another boy named Toughy, they are able to triumph and rescue Kraus. They decide not to reveal their identities and continue to fight crime as Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys.
  • Terry Sloane was a boy genius at the age of 10 and graduated college at age 12. Although he finds success at everything he tries, both physical and intellectual, Terry becomes bored with life because it presents no challenge for him. While contemplating suicide, Terry saves the life of Wanda Wilson, who wants to kill herself because her brother has joined a gang. Terry offers to help Wanda's Brother. Designing a costume to hide his identity he confronts Wanda’s brother Billie and his friends. He proves that Big Shot, the gang leader the boys idolize, is a coward and turns their lives around. In doing so, Terry finds a new purpose for his own life as the costumed, Mister Terrific.
  • Keith Everet, Earl of Strethmere, is killed by three highwaymen in the year 1700. His ghost is allowed to return to Earth to take up the cause of justice. He agrees to the bargain, but is unable to act until he meets his lost love Deborah Wallace again. When he returns, Wallace is long dead, so the Gay Ghost is forced to haunt his castle until Wallace’s namesake and ancestor arrives at the castle in 1941 to awaken him. The Ghost rescues Wallace from Nazi spies and inhabits the body of her companion, Charles Collins, who is killed fighting the Nazis. After defending Deborah, who is unaware that Collins is dead, the Ghost returns to America with her in the reanimated body of Collins.
  • Wonder Woman returns Steve Trevor to America in her invisible plane. Leaving him at the hospital, she finds a job working for promoter Al Kale. She later quits after learning that Kale is crooked and returns to visit a recovering Steve Trevor. Outside the hospital Wonder Woman bumps into a nurse named Diana Prince who looks just like her. Using the money she earned from Kale she convinces the nurse to let her take on her identity. Disguised as the nurse, Diana visits Steve. Once fully recovered Steve returns to work with Army Intelligence and chases down a spy ring. Diana saves Steve’s life again and helps him bust up the spies. When Steve returns with tales of a Wonder Woman, people are skeptical, but his nurse Diana Prince knows the truth.
