"I'm Five" is Robin's declaration of his independence now that he is five years old (next month). He performs the "cute little song" in episode 212 of The Muppet Show, when his protestations of unfair treatment from Kermit (who refused to let him sing "They Call the Wind Maria") result in Kermit threatening to call Robin's father. The song was first recorded by Danny Kaye on his 1958 children's album, Mommy, Gimme a Drinka Water, and was included on Barbra Streisand's 1965 album My Name is Barbra.
