When that ship was caught in a battle with a rival pirate gang, Skevar distinguished himself by sabotaging the Tiradosir's warp drive and transporting himself to the other ship seconds before it exploded. abstract	Skevar was a Ruddy Orion man who lived in the late 23rd century. He was born on the Orion homeworld, and was first employed as an apprentice engineer aboard the Orion privateer Tiradosir. When that ship was caught in a battle with a rival pirate gang, Skevar distinguished himself by sabotaging the Tiradosir's warp drive and transporting himself to the other ship seconds before it exploded. Unfortunately for Skevar, though he was rewarded for his treachery, he became suddenly unemployable. Few captains dared trust their engines, let alone their lives, to Skevar. He eventually found employment on another pirate ship on the Werewolf under Solomon Kane, who couldn't afford to be choosy about who he hired; Kane kept him in line with threats and money. He served as engineer and pretended to be other Orions when Kane required. Skevar was particularly greedy, always acting only in his own interest. He bullied anyone who couldn’t stand up to him, and acted obsequiously before any superior. He was also quite high-strung, and twitched and fidgeted constantly.
