General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. (also known as "Stormin' Norman" and "The Bear") (b. August 22, 1934) is a retired four-star general in the United States Army. He was the 20th National Security Advisor of the United States (2001-2009), serving under President John McCain. During his military career, Schwarzkopf served as the Commander of U.S. Central Command, and was the commander of the Coalition Forces in the Gulf War of 1991.
