Stewart noticed the problem from a rooftop, but waited until the zombie was right on top of G. He then managed to obliterate the zombie with a shotgun, remarkable considering the distance. They defeat the huge Judgment and the fish-like Hierophant before meeting up with two other agents, Harry Harris and Amy Crystal. They find out that the undead attack was organised by a man named Caleb Goldman who used the same technology that the main villain of The House of the Dead, Dr. Roy Curien, used to create his undead.

| - Gary Stewart is an AMS Agent. He made his debut in House of the Dead 2. Gary and James Taylor were sent to neutralize a new undead threat. They defeat the huge Judgment and the fish-like Hierophant before meeting up with two other agents, Harry Harris and Amy Crystal. They find out that the undead attack was organised by a man named Caleb Goldman who used the same technology that the main villain of The House of the Dead, Dr. Roy Curien, used to create his undead. Gary and James go through a system of underground tunnels to get to the coliseum where Goldman has told them to go. Along the way they meet Tower, a huge multi-headed snake beast which had already killed a large number of civilians. After defeating Tower, they arrive at the coliseum and find Amy and Harry trapped, with Harry seriously injured by a huge chainsaw wielding beast called Strength. They defeat it and Harry gives the agents a key to a car they could use to get to Goldman's headquarters. After encountering Judgment and Hierophant again and defeating them, they are attacked outside the headquarters by Magician, the final boss of the first game, that had been resurrected by Goldman. This time, however, the agents have the advantage because they know the creature's weakpoints which Thomas Rogan and G learned. They travel to the top floor of the building and confront Goldman. Goldman then unleashes his best creation, Emperor ,who was made to rule over humanity. James and Gary defeat the mutation after a long fight and Goldman commits suicide.

Later on, Gary accompanied his AMS friends to the Isle of Dogs to storm the Fear Foundry. His situation grew dire when, only armed with three bags of explosives, he was surrounded by a number of mud monsters from the river. With advice from G, Stewart aimed for the zombies' heads and fought his way into One Canada Square. After Lisa Rogan defeated their opponents with more explosives, Gary helped his colleagues finish off the last of the zombies before hearing that the Resurrection Men had helped to finish the job.
