Bart Smeets (born 1967, East Hills) is a Lovian politician of Limburgish descent. He is a member of the CCPL, closely aligned with Neil Hardy however assisting Oos Wes Ilava in Oceana. He studied at the Hurbanova School of Linguistics, the nearest university to his place of residence. Languages studied include English, Dutch, Limburgish, Oceana and German. Following his education, he became a professor at the HSL, although he left his role in late 2014. Just several days following leaving his role at the university, he joined the Conservative Christian Party of Lovia. In 2015, he ran to become a Member of the Congress. With large support from citizens from home town East Hills and Hurbanova, he became a Member of the Congress. He looks to work with party members on the topic of devolution
