Sosa went on to be re-elected to three more consecutive terms in 3332, 3335 and 3338 before her retirment from office on December 9, 3341. Sosa stands out as the second woman to serve as President of the modern Federation, following on from Federalist politician Matilda Hitchens, who served from 3318 to 3320. She is one of only eight women to serve as Head of State in all of Zardic history, and the second longest serving behind Sophia Konstandian. To date, she is the only President of the modern era to have served in office for more than a decade.
