| - "Whatever his flaws, serving the king is a Kingsguard's most sacred duty."
- You follow Ned Stark into the keep... and see Jaime Lannister on the Iron Throne, his king's blood on his white cloak. "Kingslayer," Stark names him.
- "How dare you sit on the Iron Throne?"
- "Robert Baratheon is king now."
- "What happened in here? Who slew the Mad King?"
- "You are a hero. The Mad King was a monster."
- "Your lord has already found me guilty, my [lord/lady]," Jaime says cockily. "If my cloak were gray, he'd be calling me a hero."
- Jaime gets up from the throne, wincing as a sword cuts his shin. "You want the bloody thing, Lord Stark? You're welcome to it. Damned uncomfortable."
- Jaime gives a weary smile. "You ride in here at the head of the rebel army, but I'm the only one who broke my vows? He was your king too."
- "Did you break your vows, Ser, and kill the king you served?"
