The Battle of Traal Fortress was the second battle in the Third War for Kiridak. It was fought in the Grishara-controlled Traal Fortress, a prominent stronghold on the middle continent. The fortress faced only the sea, being embedded in a cliff, and so a naval assault was necessary. The battleship's heavy bombardment created several breaches in the sea-wall, which the Kirid forces took advantage of. However, the defensive emplacements inflicted heavy casualties on the Kirid as they advanced in their landing craft, and the armored support being transported suffered greatly.

| - The Battle of Traal Fortress was the second battle in the Third War for Kiridak. It was fought in the Grishara-controlled Traal Fortress, a prominent stronghold on the middle continent. The fortress faced only the sea, being embedded in a cliff, and so a naval assault was necessary. The Kirid Naval Force's 7th Marine Battalion, working alongside the Ground Force's 28th Armored Battalion, were transported to the fortress in carriers and batlteships. While the battleships launched a bombardment at the fortress' walls, the troops and armor were mobilized towards it in both landing craft and amphibious APCs The battleship's heavy bombardment created several breaches in the sea-wall, which the Kirid forces took advantage of. However, the defensive emplacements inflicted heavy casualties on the Kirid as they advanced in their landing craft, and the armored support being transported suffered greatly. However, once inside the walls, the Kirid forces began to turn the tide. The superior training of the Marines over the Grisharan troops showed, and the Grisharan forces were all but destroyed. After the Kirid forces captured the fortress, Major Tirnof, the force's commanding officer, made plans to use the fortress as a staging area for future assaults. However, the war would end before they could be implemented.
