Most historians divide the history of the Anglo-Dutch union (Also know as the Anglo-Dutch Empire, The United Kingdom of Great Britain, The Netherlands and the Americas and more simply as the UK) into ages. Some events (Such as the Glorious Revolution and the Union of the Crowns) merit there own sections of history in the ages system. An age is generally defined as a period in which the world goes through set trends or involve events that dominate the time in which they are going on and the period around it.
