You'd then be able to switch between the two and play as both of them, each being dramatically different from one another. Gongoron will be capable of rolling to great speeds, and can plow right through some of the toughest enemies. He can also jump great distances as well if you wish for him to do so. During the dungeon's boss fight, you'll be required to used both Link and Gongoron if you wish to defeat the behemoth.

Más tarde, le envía una carta a Link diciéndole que se muda a la Isla De Ese. Si Link va a esa isla, podrá jugar al minijuego Super Slalom Goron por 50 Rupias. En él, el jugador controla a Gongoron, que deberá coger todos los cristales repartidos por la isla y llegar a la salida. Si Link tarda más de 45 segundos consigue una Rupia azul o roja. Si tarda entre 45 y 36 segundos una Gran Rupia azul, roja o verde. Si tarda menos de 35 segundos consigue la mejora de la Saco de Bombuchus o una pieza del barco aleatoria.
