Ascension Are a power metal band from Aberdeen, Scotland, formed in 2004. Ascension Pride themselves in being one of very few Power Metal bands in scotland, taking influence from the likes of Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Iced Earth, Lost Horizon, and many more of the power metal greats! they have played gigs mostly in there hometown of Aberdeen, but have also played in Fife and Glasgow. they intend on playing much more gigs across scotland and indeed the rest of the UK, to promote the impending release of their long time coming Moongate EP ( Due summer 2008 )
