Dwarvenmount is located in Rath Koridan province, in the south of Koridan. It is unique in that it is within the political boundaries of the Koridian Empire, but is not politically associated with them. Instead, it is an independent entity, tied to B'dal. The government of Koridan has never seen fit to ask the dwarves living and working there to leave, or to attempt to force them out militarily. The dwarves keep to themselves (mostly) and do not interfere with anyone.

Dwarvenmount is actually not a single mountain, but a cluster of five mountains that had sprung up for no apparent geological reason in the middle of flat plains, hundreds of miles away from their nearest mountain neighbours. Tall enough to have snow-capped peaks, the run-off from the mountains collects in an adjacent lake known as Dwarfsmith Pool. There is a road that cuts through the mountains of Dwarvenmount, leading northwest to Arthross and southeast to Avila.
