  • The planet evolved a unique species called the Ederoni, who developed hyperspace travel on their own without any external support. However, their technology somehow became obsolete by nearly 20,000 BBY and were forced to adapt external technology into their own. It was in this period when they joined the Old Republic. During the Mandalorian Wars, the Republic sent a small fleet of corvettes to oversee activity in the sector. Mandalorian scouts detected it and launched an offensive. It was during the initial stage of the war, before the entanglement of Revan and Malak. The Republic withdrew and suffered a minor defeat. Mandalorian casualties were moderate and the remaining ships and warriors joined other forces leading strikes against more militaristic systems. The era between 3,000 BBY and 2,700 BBY was known to contain the most wars among belligerent clans and warlords. Wars ended with the combating sides diminished in numbers and nearly eliminated. Crime lords who rivaled for absolute power were all assassinated. It is no doubt the Galactic Senate had a hand in it, organizing "illegal missions" against the rivals. The weapons they used in this period left a persistent change in the planet's surface and climate. This later had a beneficial effect to the Republic, materials that had never been seen before were discovered. One such substance was grau, a resilient steel that was later used in arming Ederoni ships. A Sith Lord some time between 700 BBY and 600 BBY was an Ederoni. He hid in the derelict wreckage on the battlefields that the long Three Hundred-year War. Members of the New Jedi Order discovered what the Sith Lord left and archaeological studies estimated the leftover tools to be six or seven hundred years old.
