  • The Space Empire Zangyack (宇宙帝国ザンギャック Uchū Teikoku Zangyakku) was a powerful alien empire in the world of Super Sentai, which aimed to rule the universe. They invaded Earth and fought against the first 34 Super Sentai teams in what was known as the Great Legend WarImage:Icon-crosswiki.png, which resulted in the Sentai sacrificing their powers to destroy the Zangyack armada. Zangyack later began a second invasion led by the Emperor's son, Warz GillImage:Icon-crosswiki.png, commanding from the Zangyack flagship, Gigant Horse. This second invasion was initally hindered then directly opposed by the Gokaigers, the 35th Super Sentai team, who had originally only come to the planet to find the Greatest Treasure in the UniverseImage:Icon-crosswiki.png. The Gokaigers encountered numerous past Sentai heroes and in their time together, constantly protecting humans from the Zangyack, and being joined by an Earthling sixth hero, the Gokaigers eventually recognised themselves as the 35th Super Sentai. After Warz Gill was killed fighting against the Gokaigers, his father, Emperor Akudos Gill, came and took control of the invasion but eventually, after a final battle, the Emperor was destroyed by the Gokaigers and the Zangyack Empire was crippled, starting to dissolve. However, some time later, Captain Marvelous/Gokai Red betrayed his shipmates and took over Zangyack as he assumed the title as their emperor and renamed it "Dai-Zangyack" (大ザンギャック Dai Zangyakku), formed from the remnants of the dissolved Zangyack Empire and the conglomeration of all Super Sentai villains, in order to take down the Kamen Riders to obtain their Great Powers, and the Dai-Shocker group led by Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade. However, Dai-Zangyack turned on Captain Marvelous, as did Dai-Shocker with Tsukasa, and joined forces with Dai-Shocker to destroy Super Sentai and the Kamen Riders.
